DINK is a marketing term that's used to describe me, well half of me anyway! I'm half of a "Dual Income No Kids" couple.
I thought I'd start this blog for a few reasons:
1) I'm constantly having to explain our decision to not have kids,
2) I thought I'd give blogging a try as I know almost nothing about the computer/web world,
3) I hope to share ideas and activities with other DINKs,
4) I wanted to have some fun!

City Caramels
Local girl is making locally inspired caramels, first up..."Lincoln Square"...salted caramels with hazelnuts...delicious and $20 for a pound - what a steal!!

Live in the Museum of Science & Industry
The Museum of Science and Industry is offering $10,000 to a person who is willing to live in the museum from October 20th to November 18th...24/7...and basically live and breathe science (this means the possibility of no communication with the outside world). Riesling Week
This week the EU and Germany are sponsoring the sixth annual "Reisling Week" where restaurants in Chicago will offer numerous different Reislings by the glass, the bottle or with special pairing menus.
